Under 11's Blue

Inclusion, Development, Effort, Fun

Our team started at U8s, building on regular coaching sessions before joining the Steelers family. Most of our team are members or alumni of the same primary school class, although we are pleased to welcome new players to the fold for 25-26.

We are proudly inclusive and mixed ability, and have held our own in the mid-divisions against clubs with more selective approaches.

Match Report: Ravens U10s vs Bramcote Sunnyside

The Ravens U10s played a fantastic friendly, showing real teamwork and determination from start to finish.

Right from kick-off, the Ravens looked confident and hungry for the win. The attacking play was sharp and creative, with the team linking up brilliantly. Two well-taken goals from Alfie L set the tone, with Reggie and Arthur each adding a goal to extend the lead. Alfie A then rounded things off with a fine finish to make it five in total for the Ravens.

While the forwards made their mark, it was the defensive performance that really stood out. Max was outstanding at the back, reading the game superbly and making crucial challenges to keep the opposition at bay. His composure gave the whole team confidence and ensured the Ravens stayed strong throughout.

Every player carried out their role brilliantly, working for each other and sticking to what they had learned in training. The passing, pressing, and team spirit shone through – and it all came together to secure the Ravens’ first win.

⭐ Player of the Match: Max – for a fantastic defensive display that kept the opposition quiet and gave the Ravens a solid platform to build from.

'The coaches put in a lot of time & hard work to create a team where the kids feel supported as well as challenged & everyone is included.
The kids enjoy being part of the team & how they have grown both as a team & individually has been wonderful to watch.
Steelers has been fantastic for our child and I have seen him grow in confidence and abilities.
What I like about Steelers is the inclusive ethos - it’s about everyone working together as a team, developing resilience and showing respect for everyone involved including opponents and referees.
The coaches give so much to the team, we’re so lucky to have them!
My son's confidence and friendships have thrived since being at the club.'
